Oyster Catchers is a temptingly fresh and modern take on the typical Cornish coastal cottage.
Built in 1775 and snugly set in a row of pretty terraced cottages in the heart of Flushing close
to the waterside, it was once the home of a Packet Ship Captain.

The interior has been newly refurbished to the highest standard throughout with great attention to detail.
It has been cleverly and imaginatively designed to express its nautical nature.

On the ground floor is a spacious and extremely well equipped kitchen/diner that includes a dishwasher
and washer/dryer, and a sitting room with deep squashy sofas, soft crimson rugs on white washed
oak wooden floors and a wood burner for cooler evenings. (Logs are provided).
There is a large flat-screen TV & DVD player.

There are storage heaters in all the rooms and heated towel rails in both bathrooms.

Upstairs is a master bedroom with a superking (zip and link) bed with pocket spring mattress, which is
the essence of comfort. This room has real romantic charm. The best quality bed linen and
White Company towels are provided.

There is a further double bedroom with a nautical theme and a twin bedroom furnished in a colourful naval theme suitable for children/adults. A flat screen TV is provided for children to watch their early morning programmes
while their parents enjoy a lie-in! A travel cot, baby gate and high chair are provided.

Practical for families, there is an immaculate bathroom with a thermostatic power shower over the bath with
wc and basin, and a separate shower room with a large thermostatic power shower, wc and basin.

At the rear of the property is an elevated garden and patio which has far reaching views overlooking slate rooftops towards the vibrant maritime town of Falmouth. There is a table and chairs for al fresco dining and a gas barbecue. Children must be supervised at all times as the steps up to the garden are very steep and there
is a drop at the far side of the garden.
